{"id":38,"date":"2020-03-29T11:27:46","date_gmt":"2020-03-29T11:27:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.perfectdiettracker.com\/helpdesk\/?p=38"},"modified":"2020-09-11T16:13:02","modified_gmt":"2020-09-11T16:13:02","slug":"the-options-menu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/perfectdiettracker.com\/support\/the-options-menu\/","title":{"rendered":"The &#8216;Options&#8217; Menu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"LessonContent\">\n<div class=\"LessonSummary\">\n<p>The following options are available in the Options menu.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<hr \/>\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Edit settings<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>If you want to change your user details after the initial user setup, you can do so by selecting this option.<\/p>\n<p>You can change your password, age and height, country, the location of the data files and much more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Update your results<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>The update your results option lets you update your current weight and track other measurements.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend you update your weight on a weekly basis, this helps the software calculate the current daily calorie recommendation and keeps the results graphs up to date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Change your goals (adjust targets)<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>If you want to alter the amount of weight you want to lose or gain, or perhaps increase or decrease your current activity level (for example you may want to increase your activity level if you are going on holiday and will do a lot of walking) you can do so by selecting the &#8216;change your goals&#8217; menu item.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">View your results<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>View your results lets you see your progress so far.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Change target nutritional profile<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>If you are working on a specific diet that has a different target nutritional profile to the default settings you can alter the target using this option.<\/p>\n<p>You can also access this menu item by using the small &#8216;spanner&#8217; icon to the bottom right of the target nutritional profile pie chart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Internet search options<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepInstructions\">\n<p>This option lets you turn the internet search option on and off.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following options are available in the Options menu.
